The liquid receivers are tanks where cooler flow in the system is stored as a liquid. When service is required, they are used in collecting, the cooler flow from the system and storing it and in meeting fluctuations of cooler load changing immediately in the system. They serve as buffer among liquid and hot gas at high pressure side in the system. They are used to prevent that hot gas enters in the evaporator. The liquid receivers are installed to high pressure side (at liquid pressing line) of cooler cycler, condenser outlet at a level lower then condenser. Sometimes it is compulsory to install liquid storages to condenser outlets at a level which is the same with condenser. While liquid tank is selected according to the system, it must be selected in a way to have capacity which can take more than 20% of weight covered by cooler flow as a liquid.
